I completed my Ph.D. cum laude at Sapienza University of Rome in 2020, advised by Prof. Barbara Caputo and Prof. Elisa Ricci. After that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Explainable Machine Learning lab of University of Tübingen, led by Prof. Zeynep Akata. Previously, I received my master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from Sapienza University of Rome in 2016, with maximum grade and excellence mention and my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering from University of Perugia in 2014. During my Ph.D. I was a member of the ELLIS PhD program, the Technologies of Vision lab at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, the Visual Learning and Multimodal Applications Laboratory of the Italian Institute of Technology, and a visiting Ph.D. student at Robotics Perception and Learning division of KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
